Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is hoping that the club will offer him a new contract by the end of the season. However, he has also said that he wants to focus on his fitness. This is after recovering a major injury in the pre-season. However, he got his form back just before the World Cup break. He scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist in the 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
Hence, he has also now provided the Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta with some squad depth options. This squad depth will be important in the matches before the January transfer window. There is also a chance that Nelson will get the second half of the season to impress Mikel Arteta. Hence, it looks like Arteta has seen his love and ambition for Arsenal.
