Hence, the Italian giants could take advantage of the situation. However, there are many teams that are interested in the defender.

According to reports, AS Roma are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka. The report also claims that the manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign a center-back in the January transfer window. Hence, the rumor of Evan Ndicka has popped up. The defender’s contract is expiring the next summer. Hence, the Italian club might try to get him at a cheaper fee.

However, Frankfurt are trying its best to make him sign a new contract extension. Although, the player is not close to any contract extension with the Bundesliga club. The report also adds that the player wants to explore his options before making a final decision. Therefore, AS Roma are also tracking other players if they are not able to sign Evan Ndicka

The report also claims that Arsenal and Tottenham are also monitoring his situation. However, both will not be able to provide the defender with regular game time. Jose Mourinho could provide him regular game time. This is the only thing that is in Roma’s favor. However, the Italian giants face the prospect of losing to the Premier League club financially.

If Evan Ndicka does not sign a new contract and waits until next summer, he will be a free agent. As a free agent, he will be able to demand a higher salary from potentially interested clubs. Therefore, the Premier Leagues have the finances to lure the defender. However, AS Roma does not have more finances than Tottenham and Arsenal.

Therefore, AS Roma are keeping their center-back options open. They are also tracking Ajax Jurien Timber. However, Timber will face tough competition from Manchester United. Hence, the January transfer window is going to be a hectic one for the Italian giants.
