Paul Merson has said that he is not happy with the celebrations of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. The Argentine goalkeeper carried a ball with the face of Mbappe on the celebration bus tour.
Paul was also not happy with his antics during the penalty shootout. Hence, it is clear that Martinez is currently famous in the media not for his heroics on the field but antics off the field.

Paul Merson has said that he is not happy with the celebrations of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Martinez helped the Argentina team win the World Cup. Unai Emery has also said that he will talk to Emiliano Martinez about his World Cup celebrations. The Aston Villa manager further said,

He won the World Cup with his national team and it’s amazing. “He’s coming back next week. I want him to rest now because after big emotion and hard work, he has to have some days off to rest then he’ll come back to work with us.”
A number of reports also claimed that Unai Emery is happy to sell Martinez in the January transfer window for the right price. The reports also claim that Bayern Munich were leading the race. However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has said that all the rumors are baseless. He has further said,
“Bayern are not working to sign Dibu Emiliano Martínez despite links — no talks ongoing. Alexander Nübel and Yann Sommer are the two options for Bayern to replace Manuel Neuer. Martinez, expected to stay at Aston Villa.“
The celebrations of Martinez clearly can indicate that managers are not happy with his celebrations. Therefore, this is one of the reasons Arsenal sold Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa.
