N Srinivasan, former member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) reveals how the franchise would celebrate. CSK have won their fourth title this year and Srinivasan wants to celebrate this with the whole team.
MS Dhoni is the Mentor of the Indian Cricket Team for the period of the T20 world cup 2021. But as soon as he returns from there, CSK will be enjoying for their journey in the IPL so far. Then the preparation of the next season will begin too.
Srinivasan cleared his plans after the T20 world cup ends for Dhoni. He wants to visit during the Lord Venkatachalapathy temple with the IPL trophy along with Dhoni. N Srinivasan told reporters,
“We’ll share the trophy with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at a function proposed to be organized at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium”.
Well after India comes back from the T20 world cup tournament. Team India is most likely to come with the T20 world cup trophy itself 🙂 So it could be double celebration for Dhoni before the year ends.
The retention of MS Dhoni by CSK will be done after BCCI clarifies the new rules for the IPL 2022.
The mega auction for the next edition of IPL will be taking place very soon.
“The rules of retention are not clear yet. We are not sure about the number of retentions possible. And a call on that will be made once the rules are displayed,” PTI spread the news after a CSK official told them about the discussions.
MS Dhoni had already said in the post match interview of the finals that whatever will be decided will be done for the betterment of the CSK team and it’s not about him.
