According to reports, Chelsea are also in the race to sign Declan Rice in the next summer transfer window. The report also claims that Rice prefers a move to the Gunners. However, it also claims that the Blues are ready to offer him a bigger personal terms package than Gunners. Whereas, the Blues and the Gunners are ready to go head to head for the signing of the England international. Hence, there is a chance that the Hammers could get well a transfer fee of well over 100 million. However, it looks like the Blues will potentially get a lead over Arsenal for Rice because of Moises Caicedo.
ARSENAL COULD POTENTIALLY END THEIR INTEREST IN THE ENGLAND MIDFIELDER

They already made a 60 million bid for him. However, Brighton immediately have rejected the bid. Although, they are again planning to make a 70 million bid for him. Hence, this could potentially be a clear chance for Chelsea to sign Declan Rice in the next summer transfer window.
This is because Arsenal will then make other positions a priority in the January transfer window after potentially signing Moises Caicedo. Real Madrid are also showing interest in Declan Rice. However, Declan Rice has already rejected initial approach of the La Liga giants. The England international has made it clear that he has no intention of moving to Spain. He has made it clear that he would love to a bigger club in the Premier League for the next step in his career.
West Ham have also realized that they are going to lose him in the next summer transfer window. However, they will not sell Rice to Chelsea or Arsenal because they want to avoid relegation battle this season. Hence, they feel that a summer sale of Declan Rice will give them ample time to invest the transfer funds to sign a replacement and improve the team.
