According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is reportedly considering a move to sign Lorran, a promising player from Brazil.

He claimed on X that Manchester United and the Blues are competing for his signing. A transfer deal for the 17-year-old might cost either team more than £43 million. Lorran joined Flamengo only in January. There is already rumours that he has impressed some of the best teams in the world to the point that they are interested in signing him.

He would most likely be on loan again to Brazil to continue his growth. However, the goal will be to anchor him in Chelsea permanently in the future.

Chelsea will be looking to sign the Brazilian youngster

There are several players that Chelsea and Todd Boehly have brought in who have not yet hit their peak but have the potential to become future stars.

Kendry Paez recently made his debut for the Ecuadorian first squad with Moises Caicedo. Paez is one of the players Chelsea are most enthusiastic about.

He made history as the youngest South American to ever score or assist. He also had a memorable debut.

Fabrizio Romano claims that they have dispatched scouts to find Lorran. It suggests that the Blues are getting ready to reenter the youth market once more. Romano said

“Understand Manchester United and Chelsea scouts recently tracked Lorran, Brazilian top talent born in 2006. Release clause included in his Flamengo deal: €50m. He signed with Roc Nation Sports Brazil, the agency of JayZ — with Vinicius Jr, Paquetá, Martinelli, Endrick.”

Whoever signs the boy might be getting themselves a true star if he develops into being as excellent as any of the other players on his agent’s books. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder may prove to be a valuable asset for Chelsea as they work to assemble a strong team for the future.
