When Chelsea finally got back to winning earlier this week, Mauricio Pochettino was perhaps the happiest man in West London. They believe that their 1-0 win against Brighton in the EFL Cup would spur them to improve on their mediocre league performance so far.

Following their defeat to Aston Villa, they will play Fulham in the West London derby on Monday night.

Here is our predicted lineup for Chelsea against Fulham

Goalkeeper and Defenders for Chelsea

Despite a few nervous moments against his former team, Robert Sanchez, who has been a constant this season, will remain in goal for Chelsea.

Marc Cucurella performed very well in the right-back position on Wednesday. He will stay in that position for his first league start of the season owing to a lack of alternatives at the moment.

Following his summer transfer from France, Axel Disasi will also continue his streak of starting every game so far this season. Thiago Silva, who was rested for the EFL Cup match, will rejoin him once more.

Levi Colwill seemed to be more at home in the central defence for Chelsea. But he will switch back to left-back due to Ben Chilwell’s late injury.

Chelsea’s Midfielders

Moises Caicedo will remain in the centre of the park for Chelsea despite appearing to be in some discomfort at the conclusion of the game last week. Enzo Fernandez, who had an unusual rest for most of the Brighton game, will be with him.

Cole Palmer put up a strong performance this week at Stamford Bridge. He will also start his first league game in front of those two.

Chelsea’s Attackers

On the sidelines, Mykhailo Mudryk has quietly been producing some very encouraging performances for Chelsea. On Monday, he will start his fourth straight game. Raheem Sterling will play on the opposite wing, hoping to rediscover his scoring touch.

Armando Broja will have a great opportunity to showcase his abilities upon his return from injury now that Nicolas Jackson won’t be playing.
