Chelsea owner Todd Boehly will reportedly try to sign some USA players. They will be scouting for American talents in the future transfer windows.
However, these signings will only be made if Graham Potter approves them. Hence, the club will spend only on the right USA footballers.

According to reports, Chelsea will reportedly focus on signing young players. The new owner of the club Todd Boehly wants to sign players that can play for the club in the coming years. However, they will also sign some experienced players. Although, the focus will be on scouting for young players that are ready to play for the Chelsea football club.
The report also mentions that they will also build a big scouting department in the United States of America. Since Todd Boehly is a USA citizen, he wants to bring some young players from America to the Premier League club. This is the reason Graham Potter was brought as a manager of Chelsea. Potter has a reputation for unearthing young players from unknown leagues. Hence, it looks like Chelsea scouts will now be seen in future MLS matches.
WHICH AMERICAN PLAYERS COULD BE TARGETED AS A PART OF THE NEW TRANSFER STRATEGY?
Since the reports have spread, a number of USA football players have been linked with a move to the Blues. The first player is Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie. He has started most of the games from the bench. However, the midfielder has made a positive impact on the pitch. Another player is Giovanni Reyna. The playmaker plays for Borussia Dortmund. However, he would be a risky signing considering his injury record. Although, the recent injury to Reus will see him starting a number of games.
The next player is Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah. He made an impact last season by coming on as a regular substitute. This has led to the La Liga club playing him regularly this season. The midfielder has already provided 2 assists in 5 games. Another trait of the player is he can play in various positions. Graham Potter loves a player that can play in multiple positions.
There are also suggestions that Todd Boehly will also try to sign youngsters from the MLS for the academy. This will then give them the confidence to play in the big leagues. The only American player on the Chelsea team is Pulisic. However, Pulisic reportedly wants to leave the Blues in January.
