“Could be Manchester City” … Reporter asserts £100,000-a-week Premier League player and Pep could collaborate

Manchester City

Manchester City has been suggested as Crystal Palace No. 7’s possible destination. Olise Michael.

The claim was made by Luke Edwards of the Telegraph.

Olise might sign with City

The 22-year-old has been playing at an incredible level ever since he recovered from a hamstring injury.

In nine Premier League games, Olise has five goals and one assist. At the Etihad Stadium, he also netted a late equalizer against Manchester City.

Edwards now claims that the £8 million player might work with Pep Guardiola.

Respected journalist told the BBC: “My advice to Crystal Palace fans would be to enjoy him while you can, but I expect that fight to come in the summer.”

If he doesn’t go this month, and I don’t think he’ll go this month, I think Palace can fight off any suitors this month, but when that release clause becomes active there’s very little they can do. Then it’s just going to be a case of a very talented young footballer deciding where he wants to go, could be Manchester City, could be Chelsea, could be Arsenal, could be Manchester United.”

According to The Mirror, this release clause is worth £60 million.

Olise would be wise to join the Citizens out of these four Premier League teams—at least that’s what we think.

Manchester City can land Mahrez 2.0 in Olise

Riyad Mahrez and Olise, who Manchester City looked at in the summer, have unsettling similarities.

Similar to the Algerian international, the French U21 player possesses an extraordinary degree of control on his left foot, which he uses to really hurt opponents when cutting inside.

Manchester City is arguably much weaker on that right flank now that Cole Palmer has also left, even though they haven’t replaced Mahrez yet.

Guardiola would therefore be wise to make a move for the £100,000-per-week Olise.
