Former Arsenal legend Ian Wright slams the club after a poor display against Fulham

Former Arsenal icon Ian Wright criticizes the club after there defeat against Fulham. Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage last night. Consequently, the legend hammered the club for the poor display. The Gunners looked way off the pace and Marco Silva proved his side to to be class.

This defeat will certainly raise questions for Arteta before going into the transfer market. Arsenal are looking similar as previous season where they fell short of the title. However, Paul Merson suggests them to sign Ivan Toney.

The former striker does not look convince and labels the North London club as “mentally weak“.

He said,

Arsenal looked very tired, looked like they were out of ideas and mentally weak. Coming off a poor result against West Ham, there was no response to that. There’s something lacking for Arsenal at the moment; they look very lethargic, the front men aren’t sharp, and Arsenal always look like there’s a chance of beating them. They should be doing a lot better than this.

It definitely seems that something is wrong with Arsenal. They are unable to produce in their final third and surely need some quality. The Spanish manager needs to have some change in the squad and get a quality striker.

Moreover, with players like Ian Wright saying that the club is mentally weak, something is surely lacking. Though, Mikel has a lot of time left in the market. With so many teams in the title race, Arsenal need to put the pedal on the accelerator as soon as possible. The club has huge cap before their next league clash.
