Frenkie De Jong has been reportedly left disgusted by Barcelona and head coach Xavi. The manager reportedly informed him of their decision to sell him to Manchester United on a phone call.
The Dutch midfielder returned to training at the club’s facilities on Monday. However, negotiations are going on to sell him to United. Although, the player is disappointed by the behavior of the Spanish giants.
WHY IS FRENKIE DE JONG NOT HAPPY WITH THE TRANSFER NEGOTIATIONS?
De Jong knows the current economic situation of Barcelona. He knows the reasons as to why they are trying to sell him. However, he is deeply displeased with the manner in which they have approached his transfer. The player thinks he has been left isolated in the negotiation process. He is also said to be disappointed by the tactics of Joan Laporta in the negotiation.
Joan Laporta has insisted to the media that he is not for sale. However, privately the club are open to his departure. The midfielder wants clarification on his future at the club. He is also not happy about the unnecessary media attention on the transfer. There are also reports coming out that Frenkie De Jong has cleared out his locker at Barca.

The position of Manchester United in the negotiations is going up and down. One day player seems to agree to the transfer, but the club rejects the offer. The other day Barca accept the offer, but then De Jong says he has changed his mind. However, the Dutch midfielder is grateful for the level of interest by United for his signature.

However, the negotiation process with Barca and the player is very difficult at the moment. Although, the new boss remains optimistic about the transfer.
