The Villans recently locked down exciting young prospect Matty Cash to a new long-term contract. Cash who joined Villa in September 2020, will now remain with the club till June 2027.

Jack Grealish who was a super-hit at Aston Villa joined Manchester City at the start of the season. Moreover, his move to City was a stellar one as Pep’s side paid a massive £100 million to acquire his signature. However, there’s still a lot of love left in Jack Grealish for Aston Villa. The winger still closely follows his former club, keeping a tab on their moves. Recently he commented on Matty Cash signing a new deal at Aston Villa. Grealish commented ‘Love it’ on Cash’s Instagram post which confirmed his extension at the club. Cash is known to be close friends with Grealish, and the City player pondered love on Villa’s transfer decision.

“I’m delighted. It’s another proud day for me and my family. It’s another step in the right direction, and I just want to keep progressing every day, working hard and getting better. A big thanks to the club for rewarding me with a new contract, I can’t thank them enough.”

The defender further expressed his love for the club where he has only spent 18 months so far.

“It feels like home. I love coming to Bodymoor every day and working hard,”

said Cash.

“I’ve only been here a couple of years, but time has gone so fast. I’ve only had a season playing in front of the fans. I love it here; I feel at home here and coming into training every day is great.”
