However, Jurgen Klopp is not keen to sell. The German manager knows that it will be difficult to replace Firmino in the current transfer market.

ROBERTO FIRMINO AND JUVENTUS TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

The Italian giants are looking to strengthen their forward line. They had already signed Dusan Vlahovic in January. However, the club is looking to sign a forward to replace Alvaro Morata who has returned to Athletico Madrid following his loan spell. Juventus are scouting for potential forwards. It seems the scouting team has identified Roberto Firmino as the top target.

According to reports, they have already signaled their intent to Liverpool. The report also adds that the Old Lady had made a bid for the Brazil international. However, the bid was rejected by Liverpool. The fee offered was £19.5m. Although, the fee offered was met with doubts by the Liverpool hierarchy. The report also adds that Juventus are looking to increase its bid.

THE FORWARD’S LAST SEASON WAS TROUBLED WITH INJURIES

Roberto Firmino is now used by Jurgen Klopp to make an impact from the bench. However, the reason for the bench roles is he was struggling with injuries last season. Although, Klopp considers him as a very important player for the future project. But, it looks like the days of Roberto Firmino starting games regularly are over. However, when he comes from the bench, he chips in with a goal or assists.

But, it will be difficult for the Liverpool hierarchy to reject the bids as they increase. The owners of Liverpool reportedly rejected a 20m bid out of hand. The rejection of the bid seems rash as he is now a 30-year-old. However, there is also a chance that they still believe in his creativity and ability. Firmino can be very useful against teams sitting in their own half for most of the game.

However, Juventus are ready to make a second bid. The report also states Liverpool are not looking to sell him this summer. Liverpool have already lost Sadio Mane this summer. But they have also signed Darwin Nunez. The forward currently has a year left on his contract.
