This was one of the best finishes in the club’s history.
Berardi also helped his national team Italy to lift the Euro 2020 trophy last summer. He has continued with his impressive goal output for the Italian outfit, This term he has made 24 appearances across all competitions. In this time he has recorded an excellent ten goals and 12 assists. The Italian forward recently became the first player in the top five leagues to cross the ten goals and ten assist margin in the league this term.
Is Domenico Berardi the perfect option for Leicester City?
The current situation at Leicester City suggests that the owners and scouting team need to bring in massive reinforcement in the summer to help the club progress further than the recent success. Berardi is one of the most underrated players in the top five leagues. The Italian forward may turn out to be the perfect push the club needed to go to the next level.
Reports last summer suggested that Leicester City were in serious discussion to sign the winger. The transfer fee was speculated to be around £30million. But the deal could not be pushed over the line. Reports now suggest that the foxes will go back for the Italian winger next summer.
