Recently the Clarets lost their star and top goal scorer Chris Wood to fellow Premier League side Newcastle United. The Clarets look to be in serious trouble at the moment and look seriously short of goals.

The Foxes are currently 10th in the Premier League table. They have picked up 25 points from 18 league games. Brendan Rodgers would be hoping to take full advantage of the current striker situations and come out of the game with all three points.

To add to Burnley’s misery on losing their record goalscorer in Chris Wood to Newcastle United. The club has suffered a massive Covid-19 outbreak. The likes of Nathan Collins, Dwight McNeil, Charlie Taylor, Erik Pieters and Matej Vydra and manager Sean Dyche have reportedly tested positive for the virus.
While summer signing Maxwel Cornet remains unavailable due to his involvement in the AFCON. Striker Ashley Barnes remains on the sidelines and Johann Berg Gudmundsson is a minor doubt ahead of the clash.
Leicester City will be missing the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Nampalys Mendy, Kelechi Iheanacho and Daniel Amartey with their involvement in the AFCON. The injury list at the club is quite big.
