Ademola Lookman spent the last season on loan at Leicester City. He enjoyed a promising spell, scoring 6 goals in 26 appearances from midfield. The player impressed many with his performances at Fulham in the 20/21 season, and the then FA Cup champions were the first to secure his services.
He has been quite the signing for them. Although Leicester regressed as a whole this season, finishing 11th after consecutive fifth-place finishes, Lookman was a delight to watch. He is a technically gifted footballer who glides through players. He has an eye for a pass as well, and can often play elegant, line-breaking passes with ease. He is a useful weapon to play counter-attacking football, and along with speedy runners like Harvey Barnes, Pattison Daka and Jamie Vardy, Lookman formed a dangerous partnership.
However, the midlands club are yet to make a firm decision on whether they want to sign the Nigerian permanently. He is currently on loan from RB Leipzig. This is according to a Sky Sports Germany journalist, who claims that no inquiries for the midfielder have been made as of yet.
What Are Leicester Doing?
Manager Brendan Rodgers is a big fan of him. It was perhaps an easy decision to get a permanent deal for him. But it seems that some hurdles have been hit which is making Leicester second guess their move.
He’s a young player that I like very much, and he has developed very well during his time here

Leicester are probably looking to renegotiate the details of their buying options. Perhaps they may want to get a better deal from the Bundesliga team. But if they need to act, Leicester need to act fast. Other clubs are interested in Lookman’s services as well.
