Liverpool looks to hijack the in-form Brazilian Striker

Liverpool

Liverpool are looking to hijack an Arsenal move for an in-form Brazilian striker. Liverpool has joined Arsenal and other teams in the race for the Brazilian star Vitor Roque, according to various reports.

Roque is only 18 years old but is already highly rated by European scouts. He was in red hot form during his 1st season in senior football in 2021-22, bagging 14 goals in 52 matches.

Who is the Brazilian striker Liverpool trying to hijack?

Vitor Roque is very popular in Brazil. Hailed as a ‘phenomenal’ talent, it’s no surprise to see so many clubs showing interest in the youngster. He made his Brazil debut in a friendly match against Morocco in March.

Liverpool are given serious hope of going ahead in the race for the youngster and are now planning a bid. The report does not reveal exactly how much he is going to cost, although his current contract does include a £ 53 million release clause.

Roque going to Liverpool would leave Mikel Arteta fuming. Arsenal have put in a lot of work to overtake Barcelona and put themselves in pole position, but now a very big threat has emerged in the form of Liverpool.

Roque’s current team will do all everything they can to receive the full amount all at once. But Roque’s representatives already working hard on his exit, and his current team Paranaense may have to accept a reduced price.

Klopp already has great players at center-forward, with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, and Diogo Jota. Roberto Firmino won’t be a part of the squad as he will be leaving Anfield in the summer.

Liverpool are still thirsty for success and will try to sign Roque in order to boost their chances of success next season.
