Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to sell Takumi Minamino in a player plus cash deal for Raphinha. Raphinha is also being linked with Barcelona.

The report also suggests the Reds are prepared to step up their interest in Brazilian. The Champions League finalists are looking to boost their forward options heading into the new season.

Liverpool is looking at the winger to replace Sadio Mane who might depart for Bayern Munich. It also adds the Brazilian was being tracked by Liverpool in January before they signed Luiz Diaz from Porto. But now it looks the Leeds winger is back on the radars. According to recent reports, Liverpool are ready to launch a move for the 25-year-old Leeds winger even if it means selling Minamino in the deal.

IS LIVERPOOL RAPHINHA DEAL POSSIBLE?

Yes, the deal is possible. The number one reason is Barcelona is broke and are in debt. They cannot pay the 65 million fee asked by Leeds. The next reason is Leeds is managed by Minamino’s coach at RB Salzburg Jesse Marsch. This at least increases some chance of a transfer.

Minamino played so well under Marsch that he was signed by Liverpool three months later. Many reports suggest that Takumi could be used as bait in a deal for Raphinha. Leeds though is willing to play hardball in the deal. Allison, Fabinho, and Firmino all play with the forward in Brazil National team.

Chelsea and Manchester United have also looked at Raphinha but have not launched a formal bid. Barcelona have made two formal bids for the winger but the offers are way below the Leeds valuation.

Leeds are expected to get a number of offers for Raphinha. But the club have made it clear to the forward, that they won’t sell him on the cheap. Although with the interest of so many clubs Leeds are expected to lose the Brazilian in the summer.
