The Premier League winners Manchester City have reportedly signed Jack Grealish from Aston Villa. He has become the most expensive player in the history of English football.

The transfer speculation of Aston Villa captain has come to an end after Citizens officially informed about the signing. The process of his transfer fastened-up after the end of European Championship 2020 a few months back.

Villa had offered Jack Grealish a new and an improved contract so that he doesn’t leave the club. But Dean Smith’s side has accepted a £100m offer placed by Pep Guardiola’s side.

According to Sky Sports News,  Jack Grealish has completed his medical at the Etihad and is ready to join Manchester City. He has signed a long-term contract with City till June 2026.

The attacker has featured for Aston Villa on 213 occasions. He has scored 32 goals and has 43 assists for the club in the last term.

At which position will Jack Grealish fit best for Manchester City

There is a possibility that Grealish can make his debut for the Citizens in the Saturday’s Community Shield match against Leicester City

Although, if this doesn’t happen then surely he will make his debut in the Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspurs next week on Sunday, August 15, 2021.

Manchester City are also linked with the signing of England skipper and superstar striker Harry Kane. He is one of the best center forwards of the Premier League. If they are able to sign Harry Kane as well then they will break the British transfer record for a second time this summer.

Jack Grealish is an attacking player.  He has some advantages and disadvantages in his game. The English player has good efficiency to control the ball. The midfielder also has good passing and dribbling skills which enhance his play. He also has an excellent pace as well which helps him scoring goals and creating chances for his teammates.

He has weaknesses too. The main weakness for him is that he is an attacking midfielder and can only play in this position
