Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has revealed some early team news by stating that Moises Caicedo will need to be given another look before being selected to start against Bournemouth.

Caicedo represented his nation in a match against Bolivia at La Paz, at a height of about 12,000 feet above sea level. Moises Caicedo arrived at Cobham just a little while after his fellow South American Enzo Fernandez.

Mauricio Pochettino stated that Fernandez was prepared and would play a part against Bournemouth on Sunday. However, Caicedo is less certain. Pochettino said

“We saw them today and he is in a good mood,” he told reporters. He scored against Bolivia, I think he will be ready. Moises is a bit later than Enzo. So we will need to assess him but we hope so [he’s ready].”

Mauricio Pochettino wants his team to play more agressively

The matchup against Bournemouth is a must-win for Chelsea. The Blues had a difficult start to the season, which included just one win, one tie, and two losses in their first four Premier League games.

According to boss Mauricio Pochettino, encouraging his players to be aggressive in a positive way could help. He said to the reporters

“If you watch the Forest game, they won and deserved it. But the way that we concede the goal… a team that is going to be involved in European competitions or play to win the Premier League, we cannot concede this type of goal. We need to be more aggressive in this type of situation.”

Mauricio Pochettino further added

“We need to set principles on how we play from the back and press, the evolution of the system. The dynamic of playing with two defenders or three, how many in the middle and how we’re going to attack in the right areas.”
