Noah Lang would suit Everton, scout David Webb claims

Everton

According to coach and also a scout, David Webb, Noah Lang can make an impact at a club like Everton. The Dutch international had another stellar season for his club Club Brugge.

In May, the Italian news outlet Calciomercato claimed AC Milan will look to win the race for the prized youngster. However, things changed since that and they are currently behind the likes of Leeds and West Ham for his signature.

Reports arose that West Ham offered the 22 year old €3 million (£2.6 million) per year as wages to lure him to the London stadium. Overall, the club expected an aggregate total of €25m (£21.2m) to secure the services of Lang.

However, Webb, who worked for various clubs across Europe believes that the Dutchman can be a fit for Everton. He is of the belief that Frank Lampard’s tactics will suit his style of play and thus an ideal fit.

Web on next possible club for Noah Lang

Speaking to The Athletic about Lang and his next possible destination, Webb said: “The Premier League will be tempting for a player who is now a full international and involved in the Netherlands’ current Nations League campaign. Arsenal have scouted him.”

“Where Antonio Conte’s system at Spurs might be too rigid to incorporate him, he’s the type of player who might make an impact at a side like Aston Villa, Everton or Newcastle.”

Talking about Everton, they somehow avoided relegation in the recently concluded campaign. They have a vital summer transfer window in their hands and things can’t go wrong for them now. Although they need to reinforce their defence, Lampard won’t mind to add more firepower to their attack.

Another interesting fact is, that the Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal put his bet on Noah Lang to win the Balon d’Or before Kevin de Bruyne.
