Steven Gerrard to Poach Rangers Striker

Scottish international Rory Wilson has confirmed his exit and Steven Gerrard villa is looking to capitalize on this moment. The U-17 international is looking for a future in England and Gerrard’s side is the perfect one for him to flourish.

In a press conference, Wilson quoted.

Rangers have been brilliant for me and there’s no getting away from that but it’s time to move on and got to the next level. I’d like to thank the Rangers for everything that they’ve done for me because it has been great for me over the last eight years but it’s time to leave.

I’ll probably go down south and we’ll wait and see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Everything will be sorted out very soon.

At Rangers, the coaches have been fantastic for me. I can’t thank them enough for all their help. I want to go down south and try to prove myself and become a top player.

What makes Wilson so special for Gerrard?

Wilson recently played for Scottish U-17s at European Championship in Israel. Unfortunately, Scotland was out in the group stages after losing all of their three games which were against Portugal, Denmark, and Sweden. Scotland only scored twice, out of which one was scored by Wilson in their 3-1 defeat to Denmark.

This Scottish teenager has had a stellar campaign that has seen the teenager score 49 goals for club and country. With the proper environment and exposure Wilson can turn into the next superstar-about whom the whole world talks about. Gerrard certainly has plans and to his plans, Wilson fits perfectly.

The transfer window doesn’t officially open until June 10, but Villa is already busy bolstering their squad. On Monday Villa announced the signing of Boubacar Kamara on a free transfer and penned down a five-year deal. Before Kamara, Villa signed playmaker Phillipe Coutinho who was on loan at the villa park. Gerrard is also interested in signing Sevilla CB Diego Carlos but the move can be difficult because of the finances involved.

Villa finished 14th this season and would like to improve their holding in terms of rankings and game dominance. With ambitious owners and coach Steven Gerrard, Villa park is soon going to witness glory days.
