Arsenal are reportedly having positive talks with Atletico over the loan deal of Joao Felix. However, the sources are still claiming that both sides will take time to come to an agreement.
This is because of the 19 million loan fee demand by the La Liga giants for their Portuguese forward. However, it is also clear that Diego Simeone is very open to loaning him out.

According to reports, Arsenal have held positive talks with Atletico Madrid over the loan deal of Joao Felix. La Liga are also in positive discussions to reduce their loan fee. “We’re told that positive talks are continuing between Arsenal and Atletico Madrid over the loan signing of Felix, but this is where it gets difficult. Atletico want around £19m for that six-month loan deal, that’s a loan deal and the wages. Arsenal feel that is way too much for a six month loan, but if you take away the figures for a moment, I think for both clubs this deal would work,”.

According to reports, Atletico Madrid are also open to including an option to buy in the loan deal. Therefore, it is clear that Arsenal have to also think about the future transfer fee in the next summer transfer window. Manchester United are also monitoring the situation. They are also in contact with his agent Jorge Mendes. However, the Gunners are leading the race for the signature of Joao Felix.
