Arsenal have reportedly completed the signing of Jorginho on the deadline day from Chelsea. Chelsea have also sold him as they got the right price for him from the Gunners.

The Blues will receive a fee of 12 million including add-ons for the Italian midfielder. Jorginho’s contract with the club was going to expire in the next summer transfer window.

ARSENAL FINALLY MAKE THE MIDFIELDER SIGNING ON THE DEADLINE DAY

According to reports, Arsenal have completed the signing of Jorginho from Chelsea. The report also claims that the Gunners will pay a fee of 10 million plus 2 million add ons for the Italian midfielder. It also claims that Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the Italian midfielder. Hence, Mikel Arteta is the biggest reason for the signing. Jorginho is also very excited with the project. Hence, he has also agreed personal terms with the Premier League leaders for two and a half years. There is also an option to extend it for one more season.

The report also claims that the Arsenal players are very excited with his arrival. This is because of his achievements and mentality of winning trophies with Chelsea. The Gunners will also benefit from his leadership skills. This is also a good move because the Gunners need players that have the experience to help them win trophies from a comfortable position. It is also a good sale deal for Chelsea. This is because he was going to leave the Blues in the next summer transfer window on a free transfer.

THE JORGINHO DEAL WILL NOT AFFECT THE MOISES CAICEDO DEAL IN THE NEXT SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW

According to reports, the Jorginho deal will have no affect on the Arsenal deal for Moises Caicedo in the next summer transfer window. The Gunners wanted to sign Brighton midfielder in the January transfer window. However, the Seagulls have made it clear that the midfielder is not for sale. This is despite the two Gunners bids of 60 million and 70 million. Hence, many thought that the Gunners signed Jorginho because of the failure to sign Moises Caicedo.

Although, it looks like the reports are not true. Jorginho is signed because Mohamed Elneny has suffered another injury. Another reason is Albert Sambi Lokonga is going to join Crystal Palace on loan. Hence, Arteta has signed a midfielder that can also help in defending. The Gunners will also hope to sign Moises Caicedo. However, the move will only happen in the next summer transfer window. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also said that a potential January move for Caicedo is totally off.

Hence, it looks like Arsenal will finish their incomings in the January transfer window with the Jorginho signing. The Gunners managed to sign Leandro Trossard, Jorginho and Jakub Kiwior in January. Hence, this has also given depth to their squad for the remainder of the season. Therefore, the owners now can only hope that the Gunners continue a positive march towards the Premier League title this season.
