Arsenal target Sergej Milinkovic Savic’s valuation is increasing with every transfer window. Hence, a deal is going to be very hard in January.
The Serbian midfielder has also performed brilliantly in the World Cup. Hence, this has led to Lazio asking an insane fee for their star midfielder.
ARSENAL AND SERGEJ MILINKOVIC SAVIC TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY
Arsenal reportedly sees Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic Savic as an option for the midfielder signing in January. The report also claims that the Gunners are ready to include Albert-Sambi Lokonga as a part of the deal. However, Lazio are showing reluctance in selling their captain. Hence, the deal currently is not advanced like Danilo and Douglas Luiz.
Another problem is the player is also considering his choices very carefully. Hence, he has also not signed a contract extension with Lazio. Therefore, the chances of Arsenal’s move are less. However, the chances are not zero. Although, Lazio have set a mega price tag for their star midfielder. Lazio’s president has also given some details on the valuation of Sergej Milinkovic Savic.
LAZIO ARE DESPERATE TO KEEP THEIR STAR MIDFIELDER
It looks like the Italian giants are trying their best to keep their star midfielder. Lazio president Claudio Lotito has also praised his performances for the club and national team. He has also said that they would like to discuss a new contract with him. Hence, it looks like Lazio’s president does not want him to go to Arsenal or any other European club.
Claudio Lotito further said,
“Guess how much he’s worth , he scored a goal at the World Cup with his ankle injured, and he’s the best midfielder in the world.”
These comments came after his goal in a 3-3 draw against Cameroon. Hence, it looks like Lazio’s president rates him very highly. Hence, it is going to take a bid of 100-120 million to sign him in the January transfer window.
Arsenal will hope that Sergej Milinkovic Savic rejects the contract extension. This will potentially help reduce the transfer fee demanded by Lazio. The midfielder’s contract with the Italian giants is ending in the next 18 months.
