Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly becoming concerned about the transfer strategy of Manchester United. The Red Devils are off to a slow start in the market.

According to reports, Ronaldo is concerned that his side’s rivals are pulling further ahead of the new season. The report also claims that he is worried that the Red Devils have not been able to boost their squad after a poor 2021-22 season. Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford has recently called into question.

CRISTIANO RONALDO CONCERNED ABOUT THE TRANSFER STRATEGY OF MANCHESTER UNITED?

Although, the 37-year-old has allegedly made the decision to spend at least one season with the Red Devils. Cristiano Ronaldo has given Manchester United the green light to sign another striker this summer. Tammy Abraham and Porto’s Evanilson are both linked to a move to Old Trafford. However, at the moment, the focus is on signing Frenkie De Jong and Antony.

MONEY IS THERE TO SPEND FOR ERIK TEN HAG & STAFF

Although, the news in local media is five new signings could arrive at Old Trafford before the transfer window ends. The club’s budget is in the region of £130m despite the failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League. The Red Devils are also keen to sign a new center-back this summer.

A new goalkeeper is also going to arrive if Dean Henderson completes a move to Nottingham forest. Erik Ten Hag is keen for a squad overhaul this summer. The club is also expecting a number of players to leave. A deal for Christian Eriksen is also on the table. The midfielder is available on a free transfer.

Erik Ten Hag is currently preparing for the start of pre-season training on Monday. Although, the players involved for their countries will report for duty next month. Man United’s pre-season tour will be in Thailand and Australia. They will also play friendlies in European countries. The 20-time English Champions will begin their league campaign against Brighton at home on August 7.
