Sportswriter Paul Brown claims that Aaron Ramsdale would like to join Chelsea. Describing the prospect as “pretty tempting” and mentioning the Blues’ interest in the England international.

Since David Raya has become Arteta’s top choice, talkSPORT has connected Ramsdale to a move to west London. However, according to talkSPORT and Brown, it would be challenging for Arsenal to approve a January transfer.

Regardless of whether Arteta wants his No.2 keeper to leave, fans are likely to be divide over the potential of the transfer. 

For the Gunners, Ramsdale isn’t playing, even though Arteta previously said he could switch up his two goalkeepers. Although few supporters would object to a transfer for the keeper, some would undoubtedly be offended by going across London to support a fierce rival.

Alternatively, Chelsea isn’t leading the league this year, so any deal for Ramsdale might cost more than £50 million, which would free Arteta to bolster other areas of his team.
