Is Chelsea open to sharing the wages of Lukaku during his loan at Inter Milan?

Chelsea is reportedly ready to discuss sharing Romelu Lukaku’s wages ahead of a potential loan or transfer move to Inter. In the past few weeks, rumors have intensified regarding a potential return to Inter Milan.

This is despite Lukaku leaving San Siro in August last year. However, the deal of potential reunion of Romelu and Inter is a complex deal. Inter are in no position to sign the Belgian forward on a permanent deal. Instead, Chelsea and the Italian side are trying to negotiate a loan deal.

The loan deal will benefit all parties rather than just a way of getting the 29-year-old off Chelsea’s wage bill. The news suggests that the Blues are ready to pay a portion of Lukaku’s salary. But other terms and conditions should be fulfilled at the same time.

IS LUKAKU FINALLY COMING TO INTER MILAN FROM CHELSEA?

If the recent reports are to go by, Lukaku’s move to Inter is much more possible. Chelsea would still demand a significant loan fee from Inter. But the payment of a loan fee now looks more and more possible.

Chelsea also would expect Lukaku to follow through with his alleged desire of taking a pay cut. The Belgian forward has to take a pay cut in order to get the deal done. Furthermore, the report states Chelsea is not going to sell Lukaku permanently. This is despite Thomas Tuchel failing to get the best out of the forward. If Lukaku leaves, he will leave a noticeable void as Kai Havertz and Timo Werner are only the two attackers who can play through the center of the attack.

Thomas Tuchel has previously said he plans to assess the development of Armando Broja during pre-season. Armando was on loan at Southampton last season scoring six goals from 32 appearances. Although West Ham United and recently promoted Nottingham forest are among the clubs monitoring the situation. Tuchel will be given funds by the new owners of Chelsea, should Lukaku leave the club even on loan. Whatever the situation, Romelu Lukaku has his heart set on returning to Inter.
