Liverpool will have a number of injury problems to contend with ahead of welcoming Ajax in the Champions League. They are also making transfer swoops ahead of the January transfer window.

LIVERPOOL ARE ALREADY PLANNING FOR THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW
Liverpool are reportedly planning for the January transfer window. The report also claims Jurgen Klopp wants to make signings in the January transfer window. According to reports, the Reds are interested in signing midfielder Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa. The Brazilian midfielder is out of contract next summer. However, Arsenal had three bids rejected on the deadline day in the summer transfer window.
Although, Aston Villa remains open to a sale if he rejects contract extension offers. Hence, there are chances Liverpool could muscle ahead of Arsenal for the midfielder. The report also claims that Klopp is in need of midfield reinforcements. They also suggest that the Reds would offer Alex Oxlade Chamberlin to Villa to sweeten the deal. Chamberlin’s deal is also expiring next summer.
JURGEN KLOPP IS DEALT WITH AN INJURY BLOW AGAIN
It’s not been a good start to the season for Jurgen Klopp. One of the reasons for it has been the number of injuries. Just as Jurgen Klopp is welcoming players back to the training, another player heads to the physio’s table. The player is Andy Robertson. Klopp has said that he has picked up a slight niggle that will rule him out for the game against Ajax. There are chances of him missing further fixtures.
Hence, it is back to square one in terms of an injury crisis. However, Liverpool does have Kostas Tsimikas to fill the void. The Greek full-back has impressed in a number of games after coming on as a substitute. Hence, Tsimikas will be looking to impress Jurgen Klopp to get regular game time. However, Klopp will be left ruing another cruel blow to their Premier League and Champions League title challenge.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp will be keen to get back to winning ways despite juggling a number of an injury crisis. Weathering the current storm will be the top priority for Jurgen Klopp. Hence, January window moves can wait till the right player becomes available.
