Brighton are very keen to keep Cucurella. They have already allowed Yves Bissouma to leave for Tottenham in a £25 million move.

The move was confirmed on Friday afternoon. But City’s interest is proving too difficult to resist and a deal is now likely to be agreed. Manchester City have made Cucurella one of their marquee players along with Leeds United’s Kalvin Philips.
