MANCHESTER UNITED AND KEVIN TRAPP TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports, Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. The report also tells that Frankfurt were surprised by the interest in Kevin Trapp. However, they now have a big decision to make before the window ends. Kevin Trapp himself is also considering whether to stay or move to Old Trafford.

However, the Bundesliga side will not let Kevin Trapp leave for a cheap fee. The Bundesliga are going to reportedly ask 25million for the goalkeeper. Kevin Trapp has helped the club win the Europa and qualify for Champions League this season. Hence, the stakes in the deal remain high. Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag wants him to compete for the No1 spot with David De Gea.

THE RED DEVILS ARE HAVING DIFFICULTY IN FINDING A NEW GOALKEEPER

The Red Devils started searching for a new goalkeeper. It happened because Dean Henderson went on loan to Nottingham Forest. However, the search has returned without any success. The main reason is the great form of David De Gea between the sticks last season. Another reason is every goalkeeper wants to play the maximum matches because of the FIFA World Cup this year.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravaka is on the list. However, the Premier League giants will prioritize the signing of Kevin Trapp. The goalkeeper was encouraged by the rumors. He said, “As I said during my first spell at Frankfurt, it’s always nice when rumors like this come out. It’s a nice acknowledgment – but I can’t say anything about it.”

This statement surely must have provided some encouragement to Manchester United. Although, his price still remains the issue. The Red Devils are also trying to complete the deals for Antony and Cody Gakpo and are also trying to convince Frenkie De Jong to join the club.
