Manchester United are reportedly going to make a final push to sign Frenkie De Jong in the last days of the transfer window. The Red Devils have agreed on a fee with Barcelona for many weeks. However, they have failed to persuade the midfielder to agree on personal terms. Many reports also suggest that the midfielder has no interest in moving to England.
While many reports do claim that United still have a chance to sign the midfielder. However, the reports do suggest that Barcelona will have to pay his deferred wages to facilitate his exit. The deferred wages amount is reportedly 17 million. It also adds that the Catalan giants have no interest in paying the deferred wages and they are also ready to approach the court on the matter.
THE RED DEVILS STILL HOPE TO SIGN THE MIDFIELDER BY THE END OF THE WINDOW
According to Telegraaf, the Premier League side have not given up on the signing of the Dutch midfielder. The report also states that Manchester United are determined to sign De Jong and partner him in the midfield with Casemiro.
