Kingsley Koman’s contact at the Allianz Arena is due to expire in June 2023. Coman has attracted many European clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham.
Coman has been at Bayern Munich since 2015. But he is unlikely to stay past his contract. He has found it difficult to break into the first team ahead of Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry. According to a Spanish publication Fichajes, Tottenham are likely to make a move for the French winger.
Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann recently revealed that Coman has undergone minor heart surgery. Moreover, he could get back to training as soon as next week. Liverpool are also interested in signing Kingsley Coman. Liverpool’s interest hasn’t been new to all of us. Liverpool were keen on signing him this summer. Coman is a very versatile attacker he is capable of playing on both sides of the wing.
Since Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane are Liverpool’s only options on the wing and would like to increase their options. Moreover, Xherdan Shaqiri has left the club and joined the French side, Lyon. Coman is a proven winner and he has won league titles everywhere he has been.
How does Coman fit at Tottenham?
Tottenham have loads of attacking options. They have signed Bryan Gil this summer also they have Steven Bergwijn who has been decent for them. Lucas Moura and Son have taken a central role in the absence of Harry Kane at the start of the season. We all are aware that Tottenham are over-reliant on Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son to win games for them. Coman is a certified winner and could ease the pressure on Son and Kane.
Coman has scored 41 goals and registered 50 assists in 204 appearances for the German Champions.
