Bodo/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen has hailed the performances of Arsenal players Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard. He has said both of them performed brilliantly in the game.

Hence, they were not able to come back into the game. The Gunners defeated Bodo/Glimt 3-0 in the Europa League match.

Arsenal thrashed the team of Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League group match. They defeated them 3-0. This also means that the Gunners are now close to qualifying for the next group. Eddie Nketiah started the scoring for the Gunners. Later, within the next four minutes, Rob Holding also got his goal. The Gunners were up 2-0 within 27 minutes of the match.

However, they were not the last goals of the match. At the end of the match, Fabio Viera got the third and final goal of the match. The game was fully dominated by Arsenal. Bodo/Glimt got almost no happiness going forward. Hence, the Gunners were able to have 18 shots on goal. However, Bodo/Glimt got only 8 shots on goal.

Bodo/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen also admitted that the Gunners were class above them. He said,

During the break, we talked about how we were a bit passive,” Knutsen reflects at full-time. “We kept the ball and did not take advantage of the spaces we had. In the second half, we looked a lot more like we should.“But they are not kind to us when they bring on Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard. Then we meet quality. It’s world-class, quite simply.”

The game also proved Mikel Arteta can finally rotate this Arsenal squad in some of the matches. Eddie Nkteiah and Fabio Viera were brilliant despite not starting in the Premier League. Hence, this shows the amount of squad depth Arteta has got this season. Therefore, Mikel Arteta will be hoping that none of his players come injured after the World Cup.

The minimum injuries will help Arsenal challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title. They will also be hoping that the squad depth helps them to win their next game against Liverpool. Hence, Mikel Arteta hopes that his whole squad pulls through the international break.
