Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is winning praise from the PSV Eindhoven manager. The manager is former Manchester United player Rudd Van Nistelrooy.
Hence, it is a surprise that a former United player is praising the Gunners. However, the praises are justified because of their brilliant form.
ARSENAL DID NOT HAVE MANY CHALLENGES IN THEIR EUROPA LEAGUE
According to many experts, PSV Eindhoven was the hardest opponent in the group. Hence, many thought the Dutch giants would put up a fight. However, they failed to trouble the defenders. Although, they made it difficult for the Gunners to score goals. However, the in-form Granit Xhaka scored the winning goal in the 70th minute.
Arsenal did not have many challenges in their Europa League group. However, based on their performances in the last season, many thought they would make some mistakes this season. Although, the odd mistake did not happen. The only problem was that their performances were not up to the mark. However, it was always going to happen because of the busy schedule this season. Although, the performances were good enough to keep them unbeatable in the Europa League.
PSV EINDHOVEN MANAGER PRAISES THE PERFORMANCES OF THE GUNNERS PLAYERS UNDER MIKEL ARTETA
PSV Eindhoven Van Nistelrooy has praised the performances of the Arsenal players under Mikel Arteta. He also said that he admires the hard work of Mikel Arteta. The Dutch manager has also said he is one of the best examples for all aspiring coaches. The comments are not a surprise to anyone. Mikel Arteta has done everything in his power to help the Gunners climb the Premier League table in recent years.
Van Nistelrooy further said,
“He’s a young manager who had some rough patches last season and I’m very happy he survived that and was able to build his side and see how they’re playing and how they’re doing now in the Premiership. “I was able to share my appreciation for Mikel, the way he is building his team, the way he’s letting his team play, the signings he has made to make his team play the way he wants to play, and he’s connecting it with results.
Arsenal are currently at the top of the Premier League table. They have only lost one game in the Premier League this season. Hence, they are currently top contenders to win the Premier League this season along with Manchester City and Liverpool.
