Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Paulo Dybala on a free transfer. The club is reportedly in ongoing talks with his agents ahead of the new season.

The 28-year-old is now officially a free agent. His contract with Juventus expired at the end of June. Inter Milan were ahead for his signature. However, the move is now thrown into doubt following Lukaku’s return to San Siro.

PAULO DYBALA AND MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

Inter CEO Guiseppe Marotta claimed the team’s attack is now complete. He said, “Dybala’s part of the free-agent players available on the market. He’s and he was one of the opportunities, but we’ve already completed our attack with very good players,” Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano quotes Marotta as saying. According to reports, a proposed switch to Inter has been on stand-by for one month.

However, another recent report claimed Man United had been in contact with the attackers’ agent. This was to determine whether the player would be open to move to Old Trafford. The report also claims negotiations between the parties are ongoing. The Red Devils are keen to bring him to the club. It also claims that the player is also keen on the move.

THE SIGNING OF THE ARGENTINE FORWARD WOULD ENERGISE THE RED DEVILS ATTACK

Manchester United are currently short on attacking options. Hence the free signing of Dybala makes sense for all parties. The player will get regular game time and the club will benefit from his goals. However, the Red Devils have to move fast to secure the forward’s signature. There are chances Inter Milan can change their minds.

United also need attacking options this summer. Edison Cavani, Juan Mata, and Jesse Lingard have already left on free transfers. While Cristiano Ronaldo continues to push for an exit. The injection of Dybala into the attack would be a welcome sight for the fans. However, it is expected the attacker would ask for big wages to join Manchester United.

The 20-times English champions have only completed one signing in the summer transfer window. Tyrell Malacia was confirmed as a United player on Tuesday. Christian Eriksen is going to be the second arrival this week.
