The Atletico Madrid midfielder wants to leave Wanda Metropolitano this summer as Diego Simeone has lost faith in the player.
The La Liga Champions have signed Argentine midfielder Rodrigo De Paul for Udinese this summer. Although Saul has played at Atletico for many years he might lose his first-team place. Saul didn’t feature in Simeone’s side a lot last summer. It is rumored that he has lost his place in the first team.
According to The Guardian, Atlético will let Saúl leave on a season-long loan before the transfer window closes this Tuesday. Saul only wants to move to Premier League. Chelsea and Manchester United are the clubs leading the race to sign Saul.
