EVERTON AND IDRISSA GUEYE TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports, Everton are closing in on the signing of Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain. The midfielder will reportedly finally sign for the Premier League club. Frank Lampard has strengthened the club this summer after selling Richarlison. The club have completed the signings of Ruben Vinagre, Conor Coady, James Tarkowski, and Amadou Onana.

Idrissa Gueye had already agreed on personal terms with the Toffees. However, they wanted the French Champions to terminate the midfielder’s contract. Everton wanted to sign Gueye on a free transfer this summer. This is because the transfer was on the back burner for weeks. However, the reality is the club were working very hard to complete the transfer. It seems both the clubs are now close to an agreement.

THE TOFFEES ARE ALSO TRYING TO SIGN A STRIKER BEFORE THE WINDOW CLOSES

Everton are also looking to sign a new striker before the transfer window closes. The Toffees have been linked with a number of strikers this transfer window. The club managed to sign Neal Maupay to sign from Brighton. He was close to joining Nottingham Forest. However, the Toffees managed to hijack the deal and they managed to sign the striker.

The club is also linked with Chelsea striker Michy Batshuyayi. Frank Lampard is reportedly keen to reunite with the striker. However, Mitchy must terminate his contract with Chelsea. Everton have also made it clear that Anthony Gordon will not be leaving this transfer window. They will not sell Gordon at any price because of his importance going forward.

Everton are also looking to sell Salomon Rondon. They are also happy to let the striker leave the club on a free transfer. But, the club are currently unlikely to get any offers for the striker. Hence, it should be an interesting deadline day in terms of incomings and outgoings for Frank Lampard.
